What does the NRL Grand Final, State of Origin, Canterbury Bulldogs, Greater Western Sydney Giants, and the New South Wales Swifts have in common?

The unmistakable voice of Steve Allan on the microphone.

As a six-time Best Sports Presenter Provincial at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards, Steve adds exemplary sports knowledge to any event or broadcast.

Steve has worked at every NRL Grand Final since 1999, including hosting the Post Match Presentation for Channel Nine on 10 occasions.

His Master of Ceremonies role following the 2016 and 2017 NRL decider’s, and Game Three of last year’s State of Origin Series in Brisbane are career highlights.

His radio career includes stints at Easy Listening 97 Gold Coast, 2AY Albury, 2LM Lismore, 2UW Sydney, 96.1 Sydney, and 2GO Central Coast, where he’s hosted The Locker Room sports program for 18 years.

In addition to ACRAS for sports coverage, Steve has also been a finalist in the Best Talk and Best Music Personality categories.

Since 2007, he’s been a journalist for NBN Central Coast Television.

Steve is also an A-League commentator for for ABC Grandstand and was the narrator for ESPN’s top rating Program ‘Search4Hurt’ for three seasons.

When he’s not commentating on sport, he’s a keen competitor; winning numerous State and Australian titles in surf lifesaving and was a representative AFL player.
